Speaker was John Bevere
Title is "Deceived by Grace"
1 Peter 1:13-15
13 Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest [your] hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; 14 as obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, [as] in your ignorance; 15 but as He who called you [is] holy, you also be holy in all [your] conduct,
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, [which is] your reasonable service.
Holy = To Separate; a cut above
15 For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name [is] Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy [place,] With him [who] has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
35 "Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
13 "making the word of God of no effect through your tradition which you have handed down. And many such things you do."
14 Pursue peace with all [people,] and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
17 " Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
2 Corinthians 6:14-17
14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: "I will dwell in them And walk among [them.] I will be their God, And they shall be My people." 17 Therefore "Come out from among them And be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, And I will receive you."
2 Corinthians 7:1
1 Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
2 Corinthians 6:1
1 We then, [as] workers together [with Him] also plead with [you] not to receive the grace of God in vain.
Grace = Empowers us to do what truth demands of us. Gives us the ability to
do what is right. IS NOT A COVERING!
20 "Therefore by their fruits you will know them. 21 " Not everyone
who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who
does the will of My Father in heaven.
Jesus said to the seven churches...
2 "I know your works......
9 "I know your works......
13 "I know your works.....
19 "I know your works.....
1 "...I know your works.....
8 "I know your works.....
15 "I know your works.....
God told John Bevere.."I said to all the 7 churches that I know your
works. I did not say I know your hearts"
24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only.
1 John 2:1-4
1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And
if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours
only but also for the whole world. 3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if
we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, "I know Him," and does not
keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
19 " Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly
vision, 20 "but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and
throughout all the region of Judea, and [then] to the Gentiles, that they
should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12
teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live
soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age
8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly,
that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works.
These things are good and profitable to men.
7 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the
Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready." 8 And to her it was
granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is
the righteous acts of the saints.
12 " And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward [is] with Me, to give
to every one according to his work.
14 Blessed [are] those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to
the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.
14 Pursue peace with all [people,] and holiness, without which no one will see
the Lord: 15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest
any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us
have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.
