God Loves YOU!

John 17:20-23
20 "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

We are those who believe in Jesus through the word that He spoke to them. Jesus is praying for you and I here...He's praying that we may be united in faith and Love and that the world may know that God loves us just as much as God loves Jesus.

That should really lift your spirit up to know that God loves you as much as He does Jesus.

Once we know this and I mean know it deep down, not just words in our head, then we'll start acting like it.

If God didn't love you as much as He loved Jesus, then why would He send Jesus to die for you? Yet, He did; and Jesus paid the price and exchanged His righteousness for our sin.

What Jesus did for you and I on the cross, we will not fully understand the depth of meaning until we get to heaven...It's so much more than we've been taught. He has totally given us back ALL that the devil has stolen from us.

Now, it's up to us to stand up and claim our rightful place and put the devil in his. We do this by walking in Love and part of that is obeying God's commandments.

John 14

15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments.

Let's now go to 1 John and read all of Chapter 4

Love for God and One Another
1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
3 and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.
4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
5 They are of the world. Therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.
6 We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Knowing God Through Love
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
9 In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

Seeing God Through Love
12 No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

The Consummation of Love
17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
19 We love Him because He first loved us.

Now, let's read some of it again and since God is Love, replace the word God with the word Love.

7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
9 In this the love of Love was manifested toward us, that Love has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
10 In this is love, not that we loved Love, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if Love so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

12 No one has seen Love at any time. If we love one another, Love abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
14 And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as Savior of the world.
15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, Love abides in him, and he in Love.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

Love has been perfected among us so that we can be bold about our Love for Jesus and for one another. As we increase in this Love, we will have a corresponding increase in boldness and as that increases, our love is perfected and all fear is driven out of our lives. You need not fear anything in your life whether it's a health challenge, financial challenge or whatever for greater is He that is in you than he that is coming against you.

Stir up your love each and every day. You have to if you want to walk in the fullness of God (Love). Don't let symptoms or your mood dictate to you what you are going to speak over your life, you are a child of the most high God and you have been given the ability to walk in Love.

Faith comes by hearing. As you get into the habit of speaking the Word of God over different areas of your life, your faith will increase and your Love will increase as a result. Don't wait until you 'feel like it' because the enemy will make certain that you never 'feel' like walking in Love. Regardless of your circumstances, make your claim one of righteousness...no one said life was going to be easy. We have to fight the good fight and run the race of our lives. We have the advantage because we know that we are already victorious because God loves us and we have all of eternity to walk in that Love.

God bless you with abundant understanding and faith!
